I’m Nick. It’s great to meet you.

I’ve been a wedding photographer since 2004 and I’ve had the privilege to work with and for so many amazing couples over those years. I typically describe my photography as relaxed and personal. I’m not super modern, or super traditional! I love capturing those split second moments of laughter and love but i’m equally happy to wrangle your family into a pretty looking pose or two! I get drawn into everyone’s story and usually get choked up in the speeches! I capture the happiness, emotion and laughter of the wedding days I photograph in the most unobtrusive way possible – being there for those big, important moments, and also for those smaller, fleeting ones that you wouldn’t want to miss. 

The official photographer?

I’m often asked about where my brand name – The Official Photographer – came from. At one of my first weddings, the bride’s lovely Grandmother asked me ‘ooh, are you the Official Photographer?’. Needless to say, it stuck! 

I’ve been a professional photographer for 15 years. On those days I’m not at a wedding, I’m likely to be working with schools, photographing theatre or doing various commercial projects. 

Away from the camera, I’m partner to Alex and we are parents to Sienna and Finn. Another love in my life is the mighty Heritage United - Bath’s least-decorated Sunday league football team.
